First Day in Blog Universe
So today I entered the blogger universe, and I guess this would be my first blog. My SO (for those not in the scene, “SO” = significant other) has been pestering me to write a blog. He thinks I should write, post my opinion and see how many people I would offend (kidding…I am really harmless).
Too many topics to write about today. Perhaps I should lay down my two-cents on the Yankee-Jeter-ARod drama, or a bit more serious topic of NuCLEar weapons, or maybe a recap of my weekend of oysters and kayaking?
First thing first, I really don’t understand men. A friend once described to me that a man looks at a woman like he looks at a menu. He may be full, but one look at a juicy 16 once beef burger makes his mouth water and eventually loses all control. He may be with the perfect girl, but when a pair of boobs or slender legs pass by, he forgets he is with the perfect girl. Is it true that men are first and foremost visual creature? I wonder if the visual part of the brain is bigger than the rest… The visual part of the brain compresses against the emotional and communication parts of the brain. Is there a physiological explanation for this phenomena? If someone has an explanation, please do share with your fellowship of women…
Thanks for your eyes.

Hi Nam
Congratulations on starting your blog-the competition with Mike goes on?
Dont have a physiological explanation but can give you a divine one.According to the christians,GOD created woman(EVE) out of Man’s ribs(ADAM) to be his mate and what GOD unites man cannot separate. Why the rib? because it is very close to his heart. So if your SO really loves you,you dont have to worry an iota
As for his wondering eyes, dont worry about it too.Its just Satan being naughty.Love will conquer all!!
Cheers and best RGds.Keep blogging

OOO, my first comment! Yes, yes, competition with Mike is a life long journey
The Rib explanation is interesting. One extension of this story is the rib protects man’s heart. The woman protects the man and sacrifices for the man, which is a very common them in Vietnamese literature!

How did u start out with A-rod vs. Jeter and end up with Man’s salivation over a 16oz burger? But, I know where you stand on the A-rod/Jeter issue…you’d probably rant on how they’re both overpaid athlete and why shouldn’t give them much blog lines. As for being the visual creatures, I just don’t think we’re more visual than you gals….we’re just hungrier! Just keep us full and we wouldn’t think about touching that 16oz beef! And, even if you gals are hungry, you’re so concern about gaining that extra weight you wouldn’t think twice about touching that meat. Maybe us guys should be more concern about our weight as well……
